Overview

Led development of a comprehensive healthcare platform designed to connect an entire healthcare ecosystem—hospitals, pharmacies, diagnostic centers, and patients across a major region. Production-grade, multi-tenant platform serving 700+ healthcare institutions and 170M potential patients.

The Challenge

Healthcare providers operated in silos. Patients couldn’t easily book appointments, access medical records, or get prescriptions filled across different providers. No unified inventory or patient communication system. No interoperability between healthcare entities.

The Solution

Architected a unified healthcare ecosystem using a microservices backend with an API Gateway pattern and three separate Next.js portals for different user types. Uses FHIR-compliant health records for interoperability and supports multi-tenant operations.
